BELT WINCHES – EASILY FASTENED TO THE PUSHER TUG
In contrast to anchor and mooring winches, belt winches are primarily distinguished by their high retention force, with which they join and push forward the pushed convoy. Steger & Windhagen classifies according to retention forces of 12 t, 25 t, 40 t and 60 t. The lighters on the pusher tug are fixed above the belt winches on the deck. The winches are driven manually and hydraulically.

NOTE: We supply all belt winches with a closed hand wheel as standard (older pictures may not show this).
