For over 15 years, S + W Windenbau has been involved in providing functional and robust anchor, mooring and belt winches for inland waterway transport.

This experience resulted in the creation of a modular system of standardised components and assembly groups, which can be easily combined for use in different areas of application.

The basic components serve as the basis and are combined with special components for the particular winch type in order to attain the specific characteristics for the particular application in contemporary inland waterway transport.

This concept has several advantages for our customers. Reduced warehousing has a positive effect on the cost-benefit ratio, the combination of available components shortens delivery times considerably and special requests can be quickly fulfilled as little additional construction time is needed to manufacture special winches.
